Gooey Pull-Apart Game Day Breakfast Biscuit Bake

The Recipe: Honey-Glazed Baked Ham and Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) Refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits (like Pillsbury Grands)

  • ½ lb Deli-sliced ham (honey ham or black forest ham works best)

  • 6 to 8 slices Swiss, Provolone, or Monterey Jack cheese

  • 3 tbsp Butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp Honey

  • From the pantry: A pinch of garlic powder or a splash of Worcestershire sauce.

Instructions

  1. Bake the Biscuits: Preheat your oven and bake the refrigerated biscuits according to the package instructions until they are cooked through but still relatively pale (do not let them get too dark yet).

  2. Slice and Prep: Let the biscuits cool slightly, then slice each one completely in half horizontally. Line a baking dish or a foil pan (exactly like the one in image_9daf83.jpg) with the bottom halves of the biscuits.

  3. Stuff the Layers: Fold the sliced ham and pile it generously onto each biscuit bottom. Top the ham with a slice of cheese, making sure it hangs over the edges so it melts beautifully down the sides, just like the gooey look captured in image_9daf83.jpg. Place the biscuit tops back on.

  4. The Sweet & Savory Glaze: Whisk together the melted butter, honey, and a pinch of garlic powder f-wa7ed l-kass. Brush this glaze generously over the tops of all the biscuits.

  5. The Final Bake: Pop the pan back into the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 12 minutes. You want the cheese to be completely melted and stringy, and the biscuit tops to turn a stunning, deep golden-brown—exactly like the presentation in image_9daf83.jpg. Serve them warm!
